MVP/Axiom says: The Catalyst is a perfect starter for big distance. Its stability profile lends itself to being incredibly useful even when underpowered. Catalyst is similar to a longer Wave. High power throwers will be able to control rollers, sky anhyzers, and tight turns, while average to low power players will get easy distance with great glide, and a power responsive amount of turn-to-straight. The Catalyst is molded with the same core and nice even dome as the Octane, yielding extra glide for maximum distance shots.

MVP Disc Sports was founded in 2010. GYRO™ Overmold Technology has established itself as the Leader of Disc Golf Technology. It’s made possible with a dual-polymer concept that allows the central core to be molded with a different material than the outer rim. This Overmold design allows the outer rim to be comprised of a heavier material. The inside central core thereby creates an enhanced gyroscopic effect when spin is imparted on the disc.

The gyroscopic effect stabilizes the disc’s flight. The improved angular momentum will produce straighter, longer, and more accurate results. This new, innovative GYRO™ Overmold Technology is a tremendous leap for revolutionizing the sport of disc golf. Our latest development is Fission™ Microbubble Technology, which pairs an ultralight core with the same GYRO™ overmold as its Neutron counterpart, and while maintaining a total weight in the light 150g & 160g classes.
